Metropolitan Washington Chapter of NIGP

May 2017 Certificate of Procurement Professional Excellence

This month’s recipient singlehandedly runs the Architects and Engineers (A&E) schedule, manages all solicitations, and has conducted the ongoing evaluation review process for the review of Statements of Qualifications of 150 consultants for the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). Additionally, this recipient kept all current A&E schedules operational and has processed all DDOT's task order requests. Over FY15 and FY16, the recipient personally processed approximately 100 task orders with a combined award value of roughly $100 million. On top of all that, this person also completes complex construction procurement packages for DC Council awards. This recipient is considered by management as an invaluable member of the team and DDOT could not be successful in the area A&E without this person’s extraordinary individual efforts.

This recipient is noted as relentlessly cheerful, forever positive, and tackles each new work request with enthusiasm.  Management recognizes that the recipient’s professionalism and efficiency reflects great credit upon them, the Office of Contracting and Procurement, NIGP, and our local NIGP Chapter as a renewed member.

It is my great pleasure to present to Jeralyn Johnson, CPPB, Contract Specialist for the Office of Contracting and Procurement the Certificate of Procurement Professional Excellence for May 2017.
